Lineage2World Updating to C2

Lineage2World C2 Update & Install Info.

Server 2 will probably be the first one to get changed over.

Then depending on how that all works out we will do the others.



Some things we know right off.



1.) /loc & /time and /unstuck commands crash the client.



2.) Dwarf private workshop and crafting buttons crash the client.



3.) Recommend button crashes the client.



4.) Innacurate quest pieces crash the client.

Example: You have 40 wolf claws for a quest, but somehow got an extra 3

When you talk to the NPC to get your reward, it crashes you. To fix this, you must delete the extra number of items from your inventory.



5.) Clan functions such as the privilage button in the menu crash the client.



6.) Skills Bleed, Posion, Decay and a few others do not show the effect.

Not something that will effect game play tho so nothing to worry about.



Easy way to download:

Get this app and use it to download, it allows you to restart if you have to start again.

GetRight Downloader for sure a must have or it will take you many many tries.



How to play now:

1.) Downloaded C2 Client.

2.) Install

3.) Download C3 Textures.

4.) Install C3 Textures.

5.) Download our patch

6.) Install our patch

Unrar the patch where you want as a temp.

Then open it up and select the 3 folders in there and copy or cut them out.

Then open up your Lineage2 C2 Folder

IE: c:\program files\lineage2\

There you will see all your folder like: Animations, System, SysTextures.

These are the folders you need to over right with out patch

To make sure you can do these couple steps if you know whats going on.

Step One: Delete your system folder

Step Two: Put our system folder

a.) If you dont feel like deleting it you can past ours over it.

("Better to delete it and just use ours tho.")

This is where it would be on a default install: system folder in c:\lineage2\system

b.) Then you can just paste the others 2 folder over the old ones.



7.) Last couple things to check, depending on which way you did it.

a.) Delete your Game Guard Folder out of C2 System Folder.

b.) Delete your Obsene-e.txt file out of C2 System Folder



6.) Then join the server as normal...



DO NOT UPDATE NOW THAT C3 IS OUT ! ! !

To Install:

Open up your Lineage2 C2 Folder

IE: c:\program files\lineage2\

There you will see all your folders like: Animations, System, SysTextures.

Bunch of Icons & Textures Fixed

New Skill to recall if you get stuck in any area.

Cast time= 4mins Recast time= 30mins

New Areas that we are messing around with | FoS & FoW & Devil's Isle.

Still a lil buggy in parts but we are still working on them so you know.

GK has TP options for these areas. Since getting there seems to be fuckered up some still.

Char levels up to 80 now



If you have any problems with textures or what ever you will need to try this again.

Maybe even download the client we have posted to make sure its the same and you should not have any problems.

If you try and use one that you have already then its on your end and you need to try once again with all of out stuff fresh.

We have tested and tested and no one has any problems if done with our files.
